More Power/Longer Run-time for Traxxas' 1/16 R/C

Traxxas has just released the Series and Parallel Y-Harnesses for their new 1/16 scale E-Revo and Slash. Use the series harness (#3063) to combine battery voltage and unlock the 50+mph speed potential of your model. Choose the parallel harness (#3064) to combine battery capacity for extra-long run time. Each has the quality performance of Traxxas High Current Connectors.

These y-harnesses are for use with 2/3A battery packs only, and Traxxas has also just released their Series 1 Power Cell 7.2V NiMh battery pack (2/3A cell) for use in the 1/16 Traxxas models. The Traxxas Series 1 Power Cell battery is constructed using premium 2/3A cells, heavy-duty welded tabs, silicone-jacketed 16g wire, and Traxxas’ exclusive High Current Connector for efficient power flow and optimum performance. Since the 1/16 scale E-Revo and Slash already come packaged with one of these batteries, to increase the power or run-time of your unit only requires the purchase of one battery pack.

Traxxas' NEW 1/16 Scale Brushless E-Revo and Slash

Traxxas is set to release its new 1/16 scale 4WD brushless E-Revo and Slash. Appearing as mini versions of their 1/10 scale counterparts, the 1/16 E-Revo and Slash are anything but miniature in the power department.

Each comes with an included 6-cell 7.2V NiMh battery that allows the E-Revo and Slash to race up to 30mph right out of the box. If you're needing a little more speed, add a second 6-cell battery with a series connector (since they both come with a dual battery compartment), install the included "speed pinion," and blast to 50mph.

That incredible speed is courtesy of the Velineon 380 brushless motor and speed control. Designed by Traxxas specifically for the 1/16 scale versions, the Velineon system still includes the same incredible specs found in the VXL 1/10 scale models. The Velineon system also includes three modes: Sport Mode, Race Mode, and Training Mode. Training Mode allows you to practice at 50% throttle for both forward and reverse. Once you are confident in your ability to control this smooth machine, simply press the EZ-Set button and you get full brushless power.

Both the E-Revo and the Slash feature the unique combination of the functionality and performance of the Revo's suspension with the integrated chassis design of the E-Revo as well as the waterproof electronics that are now standard for Traxxas vehicles.

Both the Slash and E-Revo are truly ready to race: each comes with TQ radio system, glued-on tires, painted and decaled body, installed Velineon brushless-motor system, and the 7.2V NiMh battery with Traxxas' High Current Connector and charger.
